Dr. Dan Hardy grew up in Mission Viejo, California. He attended Brigham Young University (BYU), where he majored in Neuroscience and minored in Spanish. Dr. Hardy spent two years in Spain on a mission trip, where he learned to speak Spanish fluently. He also spent two additional years at BYU to obtain a Masters degree in Biology.
Dr. Hardy was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco. During his dental school training, he received numerous awards, including the Delta Dental Student Leadership award, the Pierre Fauchard Academy Foundation Student Award, and the American College of Dentists Outstanding Student Award. He also was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Hardy also enjoyed being the student body president during dental school.
Following his dental training, Dr. Hardy spent three additional years in an orthodontic residency program at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Hardy enjoys being an orthodontist because he loves creating beautiful smiles and improving the self-confidence of his patients.
Outside the Office
In his spare time, Dr. Hardy enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, running, hiking, and reading.
